Auckland Convention Bureau, as part of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited is committed to supporting the business event industry in delivering business events that support positive social, environmental, cultural and economic outcomes for Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

As stewards of sustainable events, we support and celebrate our members that provide sustainable and inclusive venues, activities, and accommodation for Auckland’s local and international guests.

As outlined in Te Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri: Auckland’s Climate Plan Tamaki Makaurau’s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50 per cent by 2030, and achieving net zero emissions by 2050 – while considering the wellbeing of our city’s people. Every choice matters, including  business event organisers’ choices about event providers.

We are proud to boast members with compelling sustainability credentials including New Zealand’s first 5 Green Star Hotel; a historic cargo shed on Auckland’s waterfront with a 400sqm solar panelled roof; and venues that both deliver sustainable events and work with accredited caterers providing sustainable solutions such as locally sourced produce, sustainable menus and eco-friendly cutlery.

Our team can connect you with the local experts and provide suggestions and partners that will help your next business event achieve great environmental and social outcomes - helping you leave your lasting impact on Tāmaki Makaurau.
