Click Studios joins Te Puna Creative Hub

Te Puna Creative Hub is delighted to welcome Click Studios – a coworking offering for creative tech entrepreneurs, artists, game developers, programmers, filmmakers and more – to its fast-growing community.

Click Studios was formed in 2020, when long-time creative sector champions Aliesha Staples, Staples VR and Rohan Adarkar, Totally Different, opened the doors in partnership with Tātaki Auckland Unlimited to coworking spaces and facilities to support a diverse mix of startup and scaleup creative technology businesses.

Having gone from strength to strength, Click Studios is now making the move to Te Puna Creative Hub, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland's new dedicated space to inspire creativity and innovation, bringing with it a range of creative industries tenants including New Zealand Writers' Guild, Day One Films and CODE.

Click Studios Co-founder Aliesha Staples says when the creative coworking company's lease at Harbourside Business Park on Rosebank Road approached its end, she began the search for a new space for collaboration and innovation, drawn to Te Puna Creative Hub's potential.

"Te Puna Creative Hub is the perfect home for the companies that make up the Click whānau. Having access to a high-quality studio and theatre, large boardroom and event spaces will enable people and businesses to thrive in their creative and technology endeavours."

"The hub is also located in a very creative community, close to Corban Estate Arts Centre and key film studios," says Aliesha.

Click Studios' storytellers, filmmakers, editors, web designers, game developers and more will benefit from access to the other skilled professionals located at Te Puna Creative Hub.

"The rapidly growing community at Te Puna Creative Hub will help creative tech entrepreneurs bring their projects to life or kick-start their businesses. With access to state-of-the-art facilities and training opportunities to enhance skills, it's a win-win situation," says Aliesha.

Jasmine Millet, Head of Creative Industries at Tātaki Auckland Unlimited says Te Puna Creative Hub is thrilled to welcome Click Studios and its diverse tenants.

"Click Studios has been a long-time partner of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited. Aliesha and Rohan have worked with us to create environments where creative businesses can start and grow at Click Studios' original locations," says Jasmine.

"We are delighted to continue this relationship at Te Puna Creative Hub and look forward to the contributions Click Studios will bring, including an extensive events calendar that offers opportunities for people to connect and learn."

Aliesha encourages anyone interested in exploring a career in the creative technology sector to check out what's on offer at Te Puna Creative Hub.

"Click Studios runs film clubs, funded technology courses, game meetups and more! If you’re looking to upskill in the creative tech industry, follow Click on Facebook and Instagram," says Aliesha.
