Auckland Startup Week launching in October 2025.
Auckland is set to host its first-ever Auckland Startup Week in October 2025, showcasing kiwi innovation on the global stage under the banner 'Kiwi startups building a global revolution'.
The five-day programme takes place from Monday, 21 October to Friday, 25 October 2025. The event creates a unique opportunity for international investors and startups to connect with New Zealand's most promising ventures and experience Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland's thriving innovation ecosystem firsthand.
Auckland Startup Week is presented on behalf of Auckland Council by Tātaki Auckland Unlimited (TAU), in association with leading investment firms, entrepreneurs, research institutes, universities and corporates.

What to expect
Auckland Startup Week aims to showcase Auckland's leading research and innovation, attract significant investment into Auckland's startup ecosystem, uplift the capability of startups, entrepreneurs and innovators and create lasting economic impact for Auckland and New Zealand.
The week features an action-packed agenda including keynote presentations from global innovation leaders, targeted workshops for startups at all stages, competitive pitch events with investment opportunities and exclusive networking connecting international visitors with local talent.
