Junofem is looking for an active investor who will bring expertise as well as funds to support the company’s New Zealand and Australian market launch in early 2021. Ideally the investor will be long term and participate in follow on rounds when Junofem scales into additional global markets.
Summary
The femfit® is the world’s first truly wearable pelvic floor training device with a clinically validated exercise programme shown to resolve symptoms in 70% of the 1 in 3 women suffering urinary incontinence.
The femfit solution consists of an innovative medical device, novel in design, which delivers accurate biofeedback in real-time via Bluetooth to a connected app. The app guides the user through the clinically validated exercise programme, and will include community/cohort and telehealth modules to support adherence.
Background
Junofem spun out of the University of Auckland Bioengineering Institute in 2018 and the founding team consists of an exceptional mix of clinicians, field experts and engineers. The team is complimented with a commercial CEO and board with a proven track record in medical devices and building global businesses.
