- Updated data on Auckland’s economy is now available on the Auckland Index, an interactive, online data tool launched in October 2017 by Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED).
- The Auckland Index is updated regularly, providing the latest data on a range of areas in Auckland’s economy.
- It is supplemented by the Auckland Growth Monitor report, published annually (and due to be updated next in mid-2018).
- These complementary tools provide data to assist local companies and organisations with their decision making, and promote Auckland as a business destination.
Updated data on Auckland’s economy is now available on the Auckland Index, an interactive, online data tool which measures the performance of Auckland’s economy.
The Auckland Index – launched in October 2017 by Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) – provides the latest data on a range of areas in Auckland’s economy.
This interactive data visualisation tool – which can be viewed at www.aucklandnz.com/auckland-index – currently focuses on data for the visitor economy, innovation, people and economic performance – all areas which contribute directly to Auckland’s prosperity.
Data on the Auckland Index is refreshed regularly. New data recently added to the site this week includes:

- Auckland’s workforce by broad skill level
- Business and economy

Data on the Auckland Index is complemented by the Auckland Growth Monitor report. The Auckland Growth Monitor was also launched in October 2017, with the next update due to be published in mid-2018.
